Description

Objective

Try to gain practical experience with Grafana K6 to conduct load testing, evaluate system performance, and incorporate test results into monitoring dashboards

Scope:

  • Understand the basics of K6 and its activities
  • Learn the installation and setup of Grafana K6
  • Write and execute simple K6 test scripts (HTTP requests, scenarios)
  • Explore different types of performance tests and take notes on XMind(app)
  • Generate and analyze reports (CLI, JSON, HTML, Grafana integration)

Tasks:

  1. Install Grafana K6 locally
  2. Write the first K6 script for API load testing
  3. Test with different user load and duration
  4. Analyze results and identify bottlenecks
  5. Document learnings and create reusable script templates
