Frontend Components¶

• Tool Details: Implemented card with icon, title, version, tags, ratings, action buttons (Use, Copy, Bookmark), description, cover image, and video container
• What's New: Added section with title, description, notification toggle, version list, author details, and release notes
• Insights & Interaction:
  • Implemented features overview, use cases with details, target users, pricing plans
  • Added "People also search" related tools section
  • Developed comments & rating system with input field and submission options
  • Created similar tools section with cards
  • Added account creation section with benefits list and sign-in options
• Submit Tool Page:
  • Removed redux dependency from submit tool page
  • Added mandatory sign-in and mandatory fields
  • Implemented submit page before submit tool form
• My Tools Page: Implemented my tools page
• Verification Modals: Implemented DNS and file verification modals

Backend Integration¶

• Integrated full filtering (tags, pricing type, verification status) and sorting options
• Implemented tool rating system API (/api/v1/rating)
• Developed tool ownership verification APIs:
  • DNS record verification (/api/v1/verification/verify-ownership-with-dns)
  • Website root TXT file verification (/api/v1/verification/verify-ownership-with-website-root-txt)
• Implemented bookmarks schema & API routes
• Implemented comment schema & API routes
• Improved previous sprint API routes

Additional Enhancements¶

1. Character count display within input fields
2. Special character restrictions in input fields
3. Removed free trial options
4. Added new checkbox field for free trial
5. Hide pricing plan URL, free trial checkbox, and pricing plans when FREE pricing is selected
6. Display Version instead of Version Number as title
7. Add a typical date format in the calendar
8. Update logo dimension 200x200
9. Implement the image drag and drop feature
10. Add max tags
11. Restrict adding tags to a maximum of max tags
12. Add an empty social link array

Known Issues¶

• Field focus not working when posting/patching invalid form values
• Categories not displaying in "People also search" section
• Similar AI tools not properly showing in "Similar to Extract AI" section
• Claim AI functionality not working properly
• Ownership verification doesnt work in dashboard
• Notification toggle functionality not working
• Replying feature is not integrated
