The system's logout functionality is not working consistently. In most cases, the first logout attempt fails, requiring users to try multiple times before successfully logging out. This issue occurs intermittently but frequently enough to impact user experience.

Steps to Reproduce:¶

1. Log in to the system
2. Click the logout button
3. Observe that the user often remains logged in
4. Repeat logout attempts until successful

Expected Behavior:¶

User should be successfully logged out on the first attempt when clicking the logout button.

Actual Behavior:¶

User frequently remains logged in after first logout attempt, requiring multiple attempts to successfully log out.
