Description

Faced a corrupt nvidia display driver issue in linux system and the screen went black and unresponsive.

Steps Taken

  • Booted ubuntu in recovery mode
  • Turned on networking for internet connectivity
  • Purged all existing nvidia drivers
  • Re-installed display drivers
  • Reboot the system
