Perform comprehensive testing of the Authentication module to ensure secure, reliable, and correct user access control. Testing will cover functional, validation, security, and integration aspects of authentication-related features.

Scope¶

• Login functionality testing (valid and invalid credentials).
• Signup/Registration flow testing (if applicable).
• Logout functionality verification.
• Password validation rules and error handling.
• Session handling and token management.
• Role-based access control (if applicable).
• Authorization checks for protected routes.

Test Coverage¶

• Successful login with valid credentials.
• Login failure with incorrect username/password.
• Empty or invalid input field validation.
• Password complexity and length rules.
• Session expiration and logout behavior.
• Unauthorized access attempt handling.

Deliverables¶

• Bug reports logged in Redmine with screenshots and steps to reproduce.
• Test summary report upon completion.
