Description
The product count displayed beside the filters (Maker, Body Type, Price, Year) in the left sidebar and the count shown in the top filter search box (Maker, Body Type, Price, Year, Mileage, Steering, etc.) do not match the actual number of products shown after applying the filters.
This inconsistency appears across multiple product listing pages, including:
- All Stock
- Truck Stock
- Korean Stock
- Stock (Used Cars)
Because the displayed counts do not reflect the actual filtered results, users are misled and may lose confidence in the filtering functionality.
Screens: Desktop (≥768px), Tablet (425px–768px), Mobile (≤375px)
Tested By: Tasfia Zaima
Steps to Reproduce¶
- Open the PQS Japan staging website.
- Navigate to any of these pages:
- All Stock
- Truck Stock
- Korean Stock
- Stock (Used Cars)
- Check the product counts shown beside filters in:
- Left Sidebar
- Top Filter Search Box
- Apply any filter (Maker, Body Type, Year, etc).
- Compare:
- The sidebar count
- The top filter box count
- The actual number of products displayed on the page
- Observe that the values do not match.
Expected Result¶
- Filter counts should accurately reflect the number of products returned after applying a filter.
- Counts must dynamically update based on active selections.
- Sidebar and top filter box counts should be synchronized and consistent.
Actual Result¶
- Sidebar filter counts do not match the top filter box counts.
- Both counts do not match the actual number of filtered products displayed.
- Results vary across product listing pages, leading to inconsistent and confusing behavior.
