This issue outlines the steps taken to build a strategy for finding tool owners' contact information, followed by a proof of concept (POC) on automating LinkedIn message sending.

Date - 6/10/25: Built Strategy to Find Tool Owners' Contact Info¶

1. Scraped Tool Data from Toolify:

   • Extract the tool information using the XML data from Toolify.

2. Comparison with Database:

   • Compare the tool website URLs from Toolify with the existing domain data in our database.
   • If a match was found, updated the Tool Social Links Table in our database with the new social links from Toolify.

3. Next Steps:

   • Send messages/emails to the social links obtained from Toolify to reach out to tool owners.

Date - 7/10/25: Performed POC on Automated LinkedIn Message Sending¶

1. Tool Used:

   • Discovered a tool called Aimfox that has potential to automate the LinkedIn message sending process.

2. Setup Demo Campaign:

   • Set up a demo campaign on Aimfox to test the functionality.

3. Requirements:

   • A credit card is required to access the 7-day free trial in order to run the messaging campaign.

Findings:

• Aimfox has significant potential to automate LinkedIn messaging tasks.
• The demo campaign was successfully set up, but further actions are pending due to the need for a credit card for the free trial.
